Accessories are where I have most of my fun. As you can tell from the name I wear loads of black and that’s not wrong. I try to mix it up here and there but the accessories departments is where I shine, sparkle, fringe-out, fluff (all of the above). I really like to keep it interesting as much as I can, and what is true to my style. My all black attire usually works as my blank canvas and from there the options are endless to add on all the pizazz. If you want to attempt adding more colour or more fashion-forward, interesting statement pieces start with your accessories; they’re basically a gateway drug!

Here is my Summer ode to the Canadian Tuxedo that I hold close to my fashion heart. Denim on denim is a look I clothe myself in often because I find it comfortable but still breaks the boundaries of fashion; side note I can sleep in denim no problem, I swear to you it’s my second skin.
I prefer lighter washed and lighter in feel denim during the summer months as it can get pretty hot in our urban jungle. Also, any denim with a fringy finish has my heart as I love the 70s and the carefree nature of dressing in that decade.
Once again caught up being my usual self in denim cut-offs. This time in a BF cut. Though wearing your “BF’s” clothing isn’t always flattering, this style short is probably my all time fave so don’t tell me otherwise! They’re comfortable, you don’t have to worry about your half-moon butt cheeks falling out, and with a good heel you can dress them up for a night out. These are vintage, so sorry folks you can’t exactly purchase them, but I believe they are a men’s 29/30 waist pant cut into knee length shorts and my waist size is a 24/25 if that gives you ANY insight. I found that Aritzia and Urban Outfitters have a great not so vintage Levis selection of BF (long hem) denim shorts.
Can we also just take in this fun top! Urban’s sale was just too good. An extra 30% off sale items (in-store), that’s why credit cards were invented; am I right!?
